Impy Games has launched a new game called Checkmate Charmers, which is version 3b. The game’s plot revolves around the king’s disappearance and his daughter’s plans to grab the crown for herself! Navigate a variety of perplexing boards, improve your allied chess pieces, and woo everyone who challenges your claim to the throne!

New Content
Three new events.
The new castle area will be used for item buying and viewing activities.
12 action cards can be employed in battle to achieve a variety of outcomes.
Gameplay Changes
Victory prizes have been replaced with favor points. You still receive a bonus for checkmates.
Inventory is now unlimited. It will automatically extend by four spots each time it is filled.
Quality of life changes.
I added item descriptions.
Play for as long as you like. The game now finishes only when you click the room containing the last scene.
The game delays one frame before loading new maps or menus. (This appears to have helped to prevent the freezing problem in Finders).

[Controls]
The left mouse button controls all major activities.
To move your pieces, simply click and drag them.
Click and drag objects into your inventory or equipment slots.
Click the opponent pieces to discover what movements they can make.

[Hints]
The rules are the same as in traditional chess, however En Passant is not permitted, and pawns advance to the stated sorts of pieces on each map.
You may change the move kinds of your pieces by changing equipped objects, and you will obtain new types when you achieve checkmates or seduce enough opposing pieces. Seals enable mobility, whereas rings allow capture. Every component must wear at least one item from its original class.
[Future plans]
Development of this game will continue! I want to provide at least two updates in the spring and early summer of 2024. All updates will become publicly available after several weeks of early access for my subscribers.
