Naughty Road Games has released a new game called Light of My Life, with the version number Ch. 8 v0.8.0. The plot of the game begins nearly five years ago, when your wife died, leaving you in charge of your two young wards. You did your hardest to be the best caretaker you could be, but the unexpected loss of light in your lives left all three of you damaged and sad. Your children have grown into adults, and the sadness you share has pushed you apart. Will you be able to transcend your own boundaries and restore the light in your wards’ hearts? New achievements
Import your choices from season 1 (chapters 1–7) or start with the default settings. It is advised that you complete Season 1 before moving on to Season 2.
A quick word on carrying over the decisions from the previous chapter into season 2. You must have completed season 1 with version 1.0.0 or higher on PC, Linux, or Mac, or version 1.0.1 or higher on Android. In the new game, choose to begin Season 2, then follow the on-screen directions to continue playing with your previous options.
Ch 7 v0.7.0
The seventh chapter is added.
I added another 10k photos, bringing the total up to 23k2, for what it’s worth.
Reworked the gallery system. Save files are now used instead of stripped-down, dialogless copies of the original scene. Original versions are preserved intact for backward compatibility.
Typos, consistency repairs, small glitches, and other minor adjustments to prior chapters’ dialog.
It now operates on Ren’py 7.6.1.
As a result, after a load, you cannot roll back to a point before the instant you saved, as doing so results in glitching visuals.
Ren’py 7.6.0 added a warning when loading a save from a separate computer, prompting you to confirm loading. This will not appear in saves made in the previous version of LomL, but it will appear in saves made in this version.

Known issues: Some phones appear to have difficulties booting up the Android version. It does not appear to be related to the phone’s model, make, architecture, age, or available resources, thus it is most likely settings or other apps, but I have yet to pinpoint the problem, and it is still being investigated.
Developer Notes:
Everyone can now see Chapter 7: Kiss from a Rose. We are grateful to everyone who helped make this game possible; without you, it would not have been possible! After a year and a half, there have been moments when everything seemed to go well and others—thankfully few—when even the tiniest task has been difficult and has felt like attempting to remove a mountain with a bird’s beak. In retrospect, though, I believe it was worthwhile, and I hope you agree.

Note to the wise: There are no minigames or stat grinds in this game.
No stimulating potions, magical objects, or sleeping pills (albeit it begins with a bit of a bender).
No broken cell phones, compromised laptops, or hidden cameras.
