Sunbath Games has launched a new game named Primrose Dungeon, with the version number 2024-11-12. The game’s plot revolves around the fact that this is the first prototype of Primrose Dungeon, which means that practically everything is a work in progress that will be significantly improved once completed.

2024-11-12
Updated to Unreal Engine 5 with new mechanics from Elvenfoundry.
Spoiler: older changelogs.
Primrose Dungeon 2: Test Build 2.2.1 (VR).
This is a VR early access build only, as it is currently in the early stages of development. There are still some clipping issues and physics to work out, but another build will be published later this month that addresses those concerns and adds skin options for Daemon Girl.
Primrose Dungeon 2: Test Build 1.2
Important Content: READ INSTRUCTIONS AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS POST ON HOW TO PLAY TO TEST THE NEW FEATURES. THIS PROTOTYPE HAS NO BUILT-IN TUTORIAL.
New Features:
Support for multiple characters.
Oculus: Button X and A, Index: Button A.
We may now have numerous characters on the stage; for this test version, two Primrose characters are there for testing; in future builds, the user will be able to spawn and select additional characters.
Selecting characters to issue instructions using the pointing technique
The most crucial addition to this construct is the ability to pick a character to provide instructions.
The only order implemented in this build is to move a character to a certain place without physically engaging with it; however, in future releases, this will be used to order characters to interact with each other and use scene items.
directing characters to move
Once a character has been picked, choose where you wish him to move.
Realistic character alignment for movement by pushing and pulling
Characters being dragged will now spin to provide more realistic movement.
Instructions for Selecting Characters and Giving Orders
Desktop:
Selecting in desktop mode is straightforward; simply use the E key to choose characters and issue directions.
To select in VR mode, first activate pointing.
To enable pointing, hold your hand in a pointing position and push the action button*.
When pointing is enabled, a white circle will appear showing where you are aiming with your index finger. Use the action button to choose, unselect, or issue instructions to chosen characters.
You can point at targets with both hands while pointing is active; however, if you cease executing the pointing position with both hands, pointing will be disabled.

This prototype is the initial stable build with basic functionality.
Basic VR movement using Controll Primrose with 5 restraints: hands, foot, and pelvis.
Primrose has full body physics, although many will be adjusted to reduce stiffness.
Test animation so she can move slightly even while restricted while maintaining the physical motion.
Requirements and supported controllers:
Make sure Steam VR is installed and running because the game uses it for input.
As an independent developer, I still do not have all controller kinds to test input, so if your VR controllers do not function with the game in any manner, please contact me via DM and we can resolve the issue!
